1. What this site is

LIC Calculators at https://liccalculators.co.in is an independent educational website that provides life insurance calculators and explanatory articles for the Indian market. It is provided free of charge.

We are not an insurer, not an insurance agent, not a broker and not a registered investment adviser. We do not sell, solicit or arrange insurance, and we receive no commission from any insurer.

2. No affiliation with LIC

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to the Life Insurance Corporation of India or any of its subsidiaries. LIC plan names, plan numbers and UINs are used for identification only and remain the property of their owners. See the full disclaimer.

3. Estimates, not quotations

Every output of this site is an estimate produced by our own model. It is not a quotation, an offer, a benefit illustration or a contract, and it creates no obligation on LIC or on us. Actual figures are determined solely by LIC and may differ.

You must verify any figure with LIC or an authorised LIC agent before relying on it to make a decision about purchasing, surrendering or altering a policy.

4. Not advice

Nothing on this site is financial, insurance, investment, legal or tax advice, and nothing here is a personal recommendation. Any decision you make based on this site is your own, taken at your own risk.

5. Acceptable use

You may read, use and share this site freely for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Scrape, crawl or systematically extract content at a rate that burdens the site
• Republish substantial portions of the content as your own
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its hosting infrastructure
• Use the site in any way that breaches applicable law
• Present our calculations as official LIC figures, or imply any endorsement by LIC or by us

You are welcome to quote short passages or link to any page. A link back to the page you drew from is appreciated.

6. Intellectual property

The text, design, calculation engine and source code of this site are our property or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright. Product names, plan numbers and trade marks referred to belong to their respective owners.

7. No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any loss or damage — direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary, including lost profits, lost savings or loss of data — arising out of your use of, or inability to use, this site or any figure it produces, even if we have been advised of the possibility.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us, which is nil.

9. Third-party links and advertising

The site contains links to third-party websites. It carries no advertising at present; if that changes, we will not control which advertisers appear. We are not responsible for third-party content, products or practices, and an advertisement is not an endorsement.

10. Privacy

Our handling of data is described in the privacy policy. Calculator inputs are processed entirely in your browser and are never transmitted to us.

11. Changes

We may update these terms, the site's content and the calculators at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms. The date at the top shows when this page was last revised.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
